By accessing or using MortemCare, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our services immediately.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to use MortemCare. Businesses must ensure that all staff accessing the platform are authorized representatives of the funeral home.

3. Services Overview

MortemCare provides funeral management tools designed for funeral homes and their clients. Core features include case management, deceased records, storage tracking, billing, communication tools, and reporting.

4. Account Registration

• Businesses must provide accurate and complete registration details, including business name, contact person, and email address.
• Families may access certain information or communicate with the funeral home through a secure channel provided by the platform.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

5. Data Collection and Use

We collect personal and operational data including name, email, phone number, payment information, and deceased records. By using MortemCare, you consent to our collection and use of this data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

6. Payment Terms

• Payments for MortemCare services are processed via trusted third parties such as Paystack.
• Funeral homes are responsible for subscription or usage fees based on their selected plan.
• All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.

7. Acceptable Use

Users agree not to misuse MortemCare. Prohibited activities include:

• Uploading false, misleading, or offensive information about deceased persons or clients.
• Accessing data that does not belong to you or your organization.
• Attempting to disrupt or compromise the platform’s security.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, and software associated with MortemCare remain the exclusive property of MortemCare or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the service without prior written permission.

9. Third-Party Services

MortemCare integrates with trusted third parties such as Google Analytics, Paystack, and Zepto Mail. These services may collect or process data independently under their own privacy policies. MortemCare is not responsible for third-party data handling practices.

10. Service Availability

While we strive for continuous uptime, MortemCare does not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance, upgrades, or unforeseen issues may temporarily affect service availability.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or engage in activities that compromise the security or integrity of the platform. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting support.

12. Limitation of Liability

MortemCare is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the past 12 months.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold MortemCare, its affiliates, and team members harmless from any claims, damages, or legal actions arising from your misuse of the platform or violation of these Terms.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated through email or in-app notifications. Continued use of MortemCare after changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles.
