Understanding the Mortemcare Dashboard

Dashboard Overview

The dashboard is your central hub in Mortemcare. It provides a quick overview of your funeral home’s key metrics and allows you to access all major features of the platform.

Key Performance Metrics

The dashboard displays four important metrics that give you a snapshot of your funeral home’s current status:

Total Deceased

The total number of deceased records currently in your system. This includes all cases from admission through release.

In Storage

The number of deceased individuals currently stored in your facilities. This helps you monitor your current storage capacity and occupancy.

Released This Month

The count of deceased released to families during the current month. This metric helps you track your monthly throughput.

Pending Payments

The number of invoices awaiting payment from clients. This helps you manage your accounts receivable and identify outstanding payments.

Quick Action Buttons

From the dashboard, you can quickly access the most common tasks:

Add Deceased: Create a new deceased record to begin tracking a case. This opens the comprehensive deceased record form where you can enter all relevant information.

Add Client: Register a new family member or representative. This allows you to manage client information and link them to specific deceased records.

Add Service: Define a new service offering for your funeral home. This allows you to create services like embalming, casket selection, transportation, and more.

Storage Capacity Overview

The dashboard displays your current storage capacity in two ways:

Percentage Used: A visual indicator showing what percentage of your total storage slots are currently occupied.

Slot Count: The exact number of occupied slots versus total available slots (e.g., “0 of 10 slots”).

This helps you quickly assess whether you need to add more storage capacity or if you have available space for new cases.

Storage Devices Section

Below the storage capacity indicator, you’ll see a list of all your storage units with their current occupancy. For example:

•Main Freezer: 0 / 10 slots

You can click on any storage unit to view detailed information about each slot and manage storage assignments.
